This is one of the parents coming out of the bird box I built. See HERE for more detail

Watching it today I could not believe how fast they go from head poking out the hole entrance, to flight. It’s literally instant. When going in it’s just as impressive as they put the brakes on rapidly.

Caught these ferals taking advantage of running water on our pond. As with some others posting, photos taken from inside ....(dining room through patio door glass) One of them fell into the water where the cascade water drops. Photo 3. Caught it flying out. One has ID leg rings and it comes...
