I just watched the "Magic Lantern- guide to great photos" and found it to be not much use. The first 25 minutes or so was spent talking about what was to come in the rest of the DVD, and as its only an hour long the subject matter I was interested in was skimmed over in the rest of the film.
Can anyone suggest something that might actually be useful? I understand the very basics of how shutter/aperture/ISO work together but I want to learn more on how and when to use them in different ways to get the best out of my camera.
At the moment I take pictures that seem to be correctly exposed and focused but compared to a lot of what I see on here they look rubbish- flat, colours not vivid and interesting and so on. I do have a lot to learn on PP but my base image is still nowhere near the mark as a starting point IMO !
