Hey all.

In prep of going on holiday, I'm wanting to take my DSLR with me.
Other than a decent bag, what about insurance?

I don't mean just from damage etc, but from some low life that decides to help themselves to my equiment (oh misses).

Not jst abroad either, in the UK. So basically, if anything happened to my kit, I could get money or even a replacment...

Could someone point me in a diarection that could offer said services?

Cheers

Check your house contents insurance. It often covers valuables out of the house.

talk to your holiday ins company, do you have specific camera insurance? I have my stuff insure with Towergate, and I get so many days European Cover, others use Aaduki, there are lots of them, do a search find some companies, then search them on here to see everyone pull them apart for being crap ;)

I've had no problems with Towergate (not had to make a claim, and thats the real test) but I've heard good things.

aaduki or simply business/hiscox if you use it for profit at all, otherwise probably get in contact with your home insurers/direct line etc :)

make sure you get some other quotes, i've always found them to be expensive on pretty much everything :)
