Help needed.
A developer friend of mine asked for my opinion on some photos of his new £2m house. I was honest with him as I thought he had taken them himself and said they were a bit basic, a bit dull and did not really do the house justice. I told him to get a pro in, which is when he told me had and had paid for the photos and also a brochure but he iwas not happy with it..
Its really his fault as he did get a contact sheet and he chose the photos he liked from it but they do not really represent the house at its best now he has them full size. They really do not have any wow factor at all, even though the house is empty it is not dull.
He has now asked me to come to re-shoot the house internally, I explained I am not a professional but he said if a pro can screw it up, I am allowed to as well but if I get it right he will pay me, so I am going to give it a go if only for the experience and the free lunch afterward.
I have an idea of where to start based on what is wrong with the previous effort but would be really greatfull of some tips for shooting interiors unfurnished.
