Can somebody please help me as I'm now at my whits end :shrug:. I have recently changed to Windows 7 and I'm having problems viewing the images upon my website www.lawrencecliftphotography.co.uk . When I click on an image, all that I can see is the top left hand corner portion of it. This has only happened since last weekend and my wife assures me (!!!) that she hasn't changed anything. Can anyone advise me as to what I'm doing wrong please? Thanks.

I use XP BTW and IE8
 
do you mean when you double click on a photo and you get the pop up box with the slightly larger image?

You can obviously easily resize that on screen but is a PITA to do each time. I am guessing there is something in the HTML which determines the size of the pop up box.
 
It would appear to be pop up window that the photo is shown in. It happens to me too when using Firefox on win7. Can see the whole photo if I drag the corner to make the pop up window bigger, but I am guessing something must have been changed/deleted on your site which set the default size of the pop up window.

Is the gallery made using some gallery software? or have you built it yourself?

I can't even drag the image to enlarge it! I've contacted the website administrators and they can see the full image, so I've had to send them a screen shot of what I'm getting. It's only happened this morning!

just lose the restrictions completely and it will open to 100%:

it will drag in Firefox, but the pop up window has been fixed in dimensions.
I'm not on win7 at work, but I get the same issues you mention, so it's not an operating system issue... it'll be the coding as mentioned above :) :thumbs:

Thanks. I've forwarded this onto the administrators. All I do is upload the images, I think I'll have to take a basic programming course :D.

I've only played with the programming by experiencing problems! lol
it might be that the page is (re)created everytime it's loaded, in which case they might have to only change it in 1 place and it'll change everything, I'm not sure what your admin guys have used!

Where abouts on the website did you find that information?

Thanks. I can also do that, but it's not good for viewing:bang:. Just waiting for a reply from the administrators who were adamant that it's a problem at my end.
