Hi,
Does anyone know if you can plug an ipad directly into a dslr (with camera adapter kit) and control it?
Only way i know is via a pc which is fine inside but i would like to try this out and about.
Cheers
Chris

I have a Sony A700 and tether it via a laptop using ialpha when inside. Just thought it was weird that there is not an ipad app you can plug your camera straight into and change settings, live view and shutter release. Could be useful?
Cheers
Trigger trap is what you need, connects your iPhone or iPad to your remote shutter release....

It appears Sony cameras are compatible.

http://www.camranger.com/ will do what you want (Nikon/Canon), its not cheap though.
