iPhone vs Blackberry Storm?

I realise that, just didn't want to make the post any longer than necessary.:D

The 3GS however does have some added benefits the 3g doesn't (such as the battery life), does the 3g also do video now?

It does on mine, but only because it's jailbroken. The 3GS comes with it as standard.

The storm really is the worst Blackberry ever made. If it's a choice between the storm and the iphone, get the iphone.

If you want a blackberry i would recommend the Bold or the 8900 Javelin

I have an iPhone and its the best phone that ive ever had - will be sticking with these for a long time :)

I was following this thread because I had been considering replacing my Blackberry pearl with a Storm, Bold or 8900.

I've just changed it for a Hero, and I have to say that already I'm quite impressed. I've never used an iPhone, we have an Orange contract, but this HTC phone seems to resolve all the issues I was having with my blackberry.

With my Orange contract coming to an end, I looked at a number of phones, with a view to replacing my HTC Tytn 2.

I got a 3GS Iphone , free on a 2yr contract giving me 1200 minutes, 500 texts and unlimited internet/wi-fi for £44.05 per month.

It was the tariff that was the hook for me, more to the point the unlimited internet, Orange couldn't get anywhere near this, as they continue to charge per Mb for internet access.

The phone itself has been an absolute joy to use, the touchscreen allowing effortless typing and control, the only gripes I have is the battery life, but a lot of that is due to me using it so much, and also the fact that I cant listen to internet radio, and continue to use other functions of the phone, I can only have itunes in the background, not any of the apps.

This is my first iphone, and im hooked

There are quite a few apps to listen to internet radio! I was checking that out for my boss before he bought his.

Im not reading the whole thread, but...

iPhone is a better device than a Storm

Storm is a better phone than in iPhone.

If that makes any sense, just I own both (but my main phone is a curve 8900). I like the novelty of an iPhone, but the features of a blackberry do it for me.

I end up using my curve 8900 every day, it has a good phone and email system, thats all I ever use and need.

I think the gripe is that you can't use an app for internet radio and use the phone for other stuff at the same time, as the app won't run in the background. It is one of the very few drawbacks to using the iPhone.

Not used an i phone, but have a storm, it was given to me, by the wifes boss as he couldnt get on with it. For what it does its not bad, but i wouldnt go and buy one. I hate phones as it is, but if people want to through their toys at me  One thing i do like is the landscape typing. Oh and its never crashed on me yet. On 3 network too :naughty:
