Is it any wonder that photographers enter competitions without reading the T&C's?

Clause #5 makes things pretty clear to me.

But how many photographers will plough through para's 1,2,3, and 4 before even getting to the relevant sections. I wonder if it's deliberate?

As a photo targeted service IMO for clarity even if the most salient part by the nature of the way terms are drawn up is "buried" in the whole, that section should be mentioned in a pre-amble to the terms and also made more prominent! For the company to as needed fall back on the "well it was all in the terms...." is disingenuous :(
 
Yep, took me less than 60 seconds to find

use the Content for such other purposes as we may from time to time reasonably determine.
alter the Content including any cropping, manipulation, combining and creation of derivative images providing such alteration is not pornographic, defamatory or otherwise unlawful;
add, amend or delete any captions, keywording or information supplied to us relating to the Content, including but not limited to, permissions, tags, descriptions, number of people, date taken, location and usernames (“Metadata”) for any Content for any reason;
