You can buy arctic butterflies and the like to do it your self, althuogh it might require a wet clean. Put it this way I wouldn't touch it with yours let alone mine.
But it all depends on how confident you feel.

I hadnt noticed but its the same with my 10-20mm but they don't show up anywhere near as much. On close inspection though they are there and in the same place so must be sensor.

You can do it yourself,its not a big job, google it or have a look on youtube.

Check out these links, should give you all the info you need, or you could take it into your local camera shop and get them to do it, but they'll charge you about what it would cost for you to do about 10 cleans yourself and I've heard mixed reports on this type of service, with comments like "came back worse than it went in" etc

I use a rocket blower and sensor clean pen, maybe not as effective as a wet clean but touch wood always been o.k for me and quick. Just make sure you blow off the sensor well first as any gritty dust could scratch it.
