Been designing flyers etc for a while now at work due to being able to use PS and having a bit of an eye for it, but would like to learn it 'properly'.

Can anyone recommend any good books/sites/resources etc?

There is a couple of books on amazon but it depends on what sorta design you wanna go into? I'm guessing print design?
 
Yup mainly print design I suppose as that is what I have been doing - seems to fit in with the photography too.

Was thinking of something that had good stuff about fundamental concepts etc as well though.
 
Hmmm, no books spring to mind. Just have a quick buches on amazon though. What software you using? Just Photoshop? or Illustrator and InDesign too?
 
Thanks PsiFox - was after a personal recommendation though ;)

Just using Photoshop but would quite like to learn other parts of the CS as we have them all at work.
 
Get your company to subscribe to Lynda.com @ $25 pm (without the exercise files) or £250 pa.

The tutorials are excellent, and if you want to take GD further, or want to design flyers properly, then you are going to want to use InDesign.
