It's arrived :D My ebay purchase..new lens for my camera....the excitement!!!

I'm mot sure anyone else will as excited as I am over it lol. It's just a Canon 70-300mm USM IS :) Much better than my kit lens I'm hoping!

Horror!!!! My camera now does not fit in it's bag! What to do?! :'(
 
I now have three camera bags that are too small :( I haven't even put the lens hood on yet! This thing is HUGE!!

You sound like you need to flog your 3 on ebay and get a small rucksack, what bags do you have at the minute? Just wait till you try a 100-400mm or a 300mm prime, plus they are white and wiegh quite a bit, so you get some funny looks sometimes.

I used to have that lens, it is a stunning piece of kit although as said not that big really :) :)

As they say it's not the size that counts lol
 
I don't really want a rucksack, just a laargish shoulder bag that I can keep my 300mm lens on, and carry the kit lens too.

I have a small case, just a cover really, then a lowepro 'support' system bag thing, and a canon bag that i'm currently using. I think ebay may be my friend!

I wish I could get out today, but sadly I'm working (From home) until late. Saturday I shall definitely be out!

Pay day for me today so I've spent the morning looking at lenses myself. I've only just got myself the camera a few weeks ago and am currently using it with an old 28-90mm lens from my old 35mm SLR. Not really sure which direction I want to head in with lenses next though.

Bought my Nikon D5000 in June/July and by Nov/Dec I spent approx £2800 on part exing my D5000 for a D300s and purchasing 2 lenses 1 x 70-200mm f/2.8 and the Sigma 150-500mm f/4-f/5.6.

All I want now is the D3s...oh for a win on the lottery. :lol:
 
I bought a cheap bag from ebay when I downsized my gear a few years ago. Two of the zips have broken. I used to own a Tamrac small expedition series and that was one of my wisest purchases. Awesome bit of kit. Built well, great padding, looked good, felt good. Only thing is they are expensive.
