Yep, the most popular brand of camera for wedding photographers in the world according to Professional Photography magazine is Canon

A massive 46.68% own Canon.

To be fair to Nikon 31.28% own them which is still more than Hassleblad,Mamiya,Leica,Fujifilm,Olympus,Contax and all the others put together.

So nikon owners please don't be too upset :D:D

I really can't see why anyone should be remotely pleased that most wedding togs use Canon, other than it gives you another excuse to go and buy a decent camera instead :razz:

Oh. My. God.

I now need to sell all of my Nikon gear now as a result and go back to the crapness that is Canon... ;)
 
Now I really like Canon- but competition is how we end up with great equipment. If there was only 1 manufacturer, they wouldn't bother putting all the R&D money in.
 
Perhaps the cannon camera owners mentioned in the survey just like responding to surveys!

The reason is when the survey questions were asked the Nikonians were too engrossed trying to work out how to set a custom WB on their cameras to answer :p :razz:
