ITV Wales weather picture 4 Feb 12

I'm not surprised your chuffed

I would be and esp if I'd managed to get a great shot like this aswell...

A real pity we can't get ITV wales here

Well done mate

Are you actually permitted to be taking pictures whilst flying or do you just sneak them in?

From our standing orders, the handling pilot is not allowed to take photos - I wasn't the handling pilot! Given that this is forum can be accessed by anyone I made sure I was within the rules a long time before I started posting here or on Flickr!

I thought you were an "actual" RAF tog... didn't realise it was your 2nd role

Great shot! If I'm not mistaken, that's Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), looking northish, with Crib Goch (actually it's Garnedd Ugain, which Crib Goch leads directly on to) directly behind. Then the Glyderau range (Glyder Fawr just out of shot in the top r/h side) and Pen Yr Ole Wen (of the Carneddau range) in plain view near the top right corner.

TV? Pfff, we have mountains. :D

(PS can I have a spin? :naughty:)

Best wishes

I can see the Sun headline now:

"Flyboyo Deliberately Fired Canon At Friendly Fighter"

"I just wanted to get on television," says pilot.

Great shot, deserves to get the airplay. Where did you submit the photo for consideration for tv or did they find it on your flikr page.

Yep. And down South we've even got hot running water and indoor toilets too. (Just don't tell that Northern lot or they'll be jealous ;) )

"Toilet". That's the big white sploshy thing, right? Yes, I have one of those, marvellous thing - brings the dishes up lovely, it does. :D
