Well, after 20 odd years working on PC's and bieng in the IT industry for 15 of them, I have just bought a new 27" imac
To be honest this has been brewing for some time. After getting an ipod touch, then the iphone and the ipad something about the slickness and useability of apple products just seems so much more attractive than the MS offerings nowadays.
Oh, and that screen
I cant wait for it to arrive now, I have ordered photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3 with it as I am so familiar with it and have never touched aperture, but I hope it is everything I hope for and more
Another one gone to the darkside
I also ordered a time capsule thingy as it seems to be a really slick method of continual backup, so thats that headache covered too. all I need to do is find a way to get sage running on a mac and I am sorted
Hopefully, I will get a much better idea of the colouring of my images now as that screen seems to be perfect for photographers (or so I have read at least) and I can use my Spyder 3 Pro on it too (if that is even needed?)
