In the 52's challenge many photographers there show several photo's that they have taken for the theme, I find it interesting to consider the selection for the entry.

It's difficult to gauge if that idea would translate to film photography, but in the spirit of faint heart never won fair maiden I will include some of mine to either start the ball rolling or stop it dead in its tracks.

Watching the telly - not totally obvious the pattern of repetition on display here.

In this scene I wanted to find the rows of black circles leading to the white circle of the reflecting mirror ball, try as I might I could not get up high enough, I ended up stood on top of a railing with the Mrs holding my legs steady. I needed a ladder, but I still don't see how, from this perspective I could have made it work.
I like the shot but it is not what I envisaged.

This one was my third choice, reducing the "pattern" to its most basic ingredients; shapes, light and shadow. I looked for leading lines and a focal point but everything seemed to be a leading line.
