Coming though the back gate after a wander in the woods, I spotted this little fella on the 100-400 that my 40d was wearing, as I also had the 30d / 50mm macro hanging around my neck, I took full advantage :LOL:

I later found out that I also came back wearing a tick :runaway: :puke:

No photos of that!!!!!!

Cracking shots & I also hate ticks with a passion after nearly losing three dogs through tick fever, admittedly two were abroad and we believe the third to have contracted the disease abroad (fingers crossed)...
 
Thanks to you all for your comments, Whilst I would not say I am a spider phobe they are not my companions of choice, but these little jumping guys really are quite charming

Ryan, yes, Ticks and their bloody tick fever are a nightmare!!! it is a real problem here for incoming/visiting dogs and it really can take them down fast, awful disease! Thank god we've got cats as the nasties they can get from them are generally non fatal!
