Hey all.

I'm wanting to borrow a wide-angle for a bit of one off work...
But unsure if this will fit..

Will it fit? also, is it VR controled?

Yeah, it'll work. HSM is Sigma's equivalent of AF-S, cracking lens.

It doesn't have VR, but you shouldn't really need it that wide. If you're at the point where you're shooting long enough exposures with a 10-20mm (15-30mm equivalent on a crop body) that you can't handhold it, you should take along a tripod.

But, it's a relatively light lens & body combo, so you can take a pretty small tripod if space/weight is an issue.

My 18-55 just doesn't hack it, so blowing a lens see if it's any good.
