I used my 400f5.6 but to be honest 300mm is ample.

#5 is my pick, but #3 is nice (I havent seen a Puffin flight shot before - I am a motorsport photographer ), #2 is fishy-nice but... #6 I'd maybe fix with some shadow/highlight adjustment as the fish are lost against the under exposed dark body and #4 would be spot on except that the light is in the wrong place and the right hand bird looks a little soft to me - could be DOF if its slightly back from the left hand one?

I tried to book for bass rock but the landing boat was full.:bang: The all day trip is better value getting 2 hours on each Island rather thean just the 1 hour.
