They're OK but there are better I think. In my opinion as said above, he does tend to go into the practicalities rather than the theory. But what frustrated me was, I purchased his DSLR beginner DVD (forgot the exact name) and it kept saying "if you want to learn more about this buy this DVD..." etc so that irritated me a bit but hey it's marketing .

I talked to the guy and he said that he has got an upcoming DVD planned.
The above 2 are what I use and I've learnt a lot and found their teaching styles to be fantastic.
I remember watching about 5 minutes of one his youtube videos before I had to switch off - I think it was his insistence on pointing out all his expensive gear at the start, which put me off. As if spending thousands of pounds on gear was the key to taking great landscape photos. :shake:
