Keep an eye on the John Lewis bargain bucket

About a year ago, i saw a R5 body for £1600 in the John Lewis Cambridge bargain bucket and kept kicking myself that I didn’t pick it up.

Today, I see this…. an absolute crazy price even Wex down the road was selling a used body with 50000 clicks for 1900.

If you're near a branch of John Lewis that runs these offers, they're great value. I bought my Sony HX-90 for more or less half price a few years ago, because the box had gone missing.

Sadly, it’s because it’s on my desk hahaha couldn’t not pass it up this time!! I’ve had a r62 since May 2023 so how it feels and handles is burnt into my brain as “normal” and the r5 feels strangely different. Only done a few snaps hopefully will stop raining tomorrow
