Keeping Exif data after editing?

When editing a picture in photoshop CS3 how do i keep the Exif data?
I installed a plugin for firefox that shows the Exif data but my images dont show anything after editing?

thats what i do though, save as jpeg (high quality - 12) and i still lose it.
 
If you open the image in photoshop then use FILE->FILE INFO can you see the exif then ?
 
Oh also check the following setting in CS3

Edit->Preferances->File Handling

Make sure the setting 'Ignore Exif profile tag' in un-selected.
 
no the saved edited photo's don't show any exif in photoshop either.

The info panel that first comes up will show no exif data except keywords (if added). You need to click on "Camera Data 1" on the left hand side of the panel to see shooting exif data.
 
yeah i'm aware of that (thanks though), still doesn't show anything :(
 
problem solved!
It was clearing because i was cutting and pasting to a new document...
will have to edit and resave-as.
