I've owned a DSLR for around 18 months now, firstly bought a D40 which travelled Australia with me and really got a buzz from being out and snapping all things great and small. been home for 8 months and just purchased a D300 with grip last week. Struggling a little with all the new functions and its kinda showing up my lack of understanding for exposure. been reading a few topics on the use of the nd grad filters and have a few books on exposure to read.
When i'm out with the camera i find that recently i'm not as creative or inspired as i normally am. do any others go through a similar state of mind and if so how do you get over it?
also just created a FlickR account, at the moment it doesn't seem to be very popular
perhaps my photo's are a little flat and uninteresting? any tips on how to improve would be much appreciated.
apologies for the long story
