Hi all
Sorry for adding to the endless list of what kit should I buy threads, but I am at a loss.
My pal wants to start out in landscapes, but needs buying advice. He has borrowed one of my D3s but this is was out of his budget and has some cracking results. I use a d3 and a d4 for my weddings.
His budget is £1000, he has filters and my old tripod.
I was thinking of the following,
Nikon d700 and sigma 24-70 (but would need to buy carefully)
Or
canon 5d classic and maybe 2 sigma lenses.
Then I was thinking what about recommending a aps-c sensor camera such as the d300/d7000? Or even a lower camera with a great sensor such as the d5200?
Or even go radical and opt for d200/fuji 5 and a much better lens? I mean the d200 was a great camera at base ISO until a new one came along wasn't it?
What do people think? Brand is not an issue,
I think he probably would sell a few if he wanted to, so print quality kit is a must.
Any pointers would be great
