Am going on a full days landscape workshop tomorrow around the Shropshire hills, really looking forward to it and the weather looks excellent. Only 4 of us in the workshop so should get some good attention from the pro who is running the day.

Am hoping ill pick up some technique help together with improving my compsition. Am going to try and learn more on hyperfocal focusing too.

Will post up some images once they have been processed.

Wish me luck :D

Cool, I went up to Shropshire for a day's workshop in Jan and although the light wasn't great I got a decent 'keeper' but learnt a huge amount.

Who's running your day? I'm looking to do another days togging with a pro soon.

Good luck with it

Trevor

Turned out to be a great day, the weather was definately on our side. We ended up visiting 5 locations throughout Shropshire including Ironbridge, Titterstone Clee, Cardingmill Valley, Rectory Woods and finishing at Stiperstones for a sunset shot (The sun didnt want to play ball though!!)

Ive produced a set of images of the trip if your interested: http://www.flickr.com/photos/migcreative/sets/72157626470538840/

Im not sure on the forum rules for promoting other peoples businesses so i can pm you all the info on who provided the workshop if you want

Really nice set. Love the misty shot, one of my fave type of shot and the reflections and beautiful too. All compositions look really good, it's about taking the time and really moving around quite a bit to get that really neat composition? Tog silhouette is great shot too. Great set, thanks for sharing.

Love to go on one of these, does anyone know of a similar thing in the Greater Manchester or Derbyshire area? If not Shropshire is not that far away.

Really liking the Viaduct images. I like the lone togger one as well.

It would be nice to attend something like this here in Derbyshire. Anyone know of someone who deos this type of workshop in Derbyshire?

Cheers for your feedback guys, really appreciated. The workshop was run through a company called Go Explore Photography, can be found though a google search as I dont want to be seen as promoting companies on the forum.
