Right then.
Due to some unforeseen circumstances my main computer that i use extensively for photo editing is unable to follow me for the next 12 months. I shoot in raw and my current netbook cant cope with storing the files let alone software.
So I am in need of a pretty powerful laptop which would be able to take over the role of processing my images I don't care how big or heavy it is it just needs to be a laptop.
The last time I was into computer hardware was when core2 was out so Im out of touch with all the I3 I5 I7 buisness but have found sony's vaio e series quite tempting for £799:
If anyone out there knows of better can you let me know, im looking for as much ram as possible, 7200 rpm hdd and esata for backup's.
I use lightroom 2 as i havent had the chance to upgrade, cs5 and a few other bits of software.
Cost is a bit of concern as I wouldn't mind something around the £600 mark but i am willing to stretch if it does the job.
Thanks.
