Hi there,

Does anyone have any views on laptops for photography?. I have a budget of about £800 and want something with fairly high memory and a decent display but nothing too technical . I will be using this purely for my photo editing with lightroom. I have another laptop i will be doing the normal web searching,emails etc on.
Ideally would like to buy new

For PP works, I recommend the largest screen.
Even better is a large screen commended and
fed by the laptop.
 
For that budget, look for a Dell XPS15 9530 or similar: quad core i7, 16GB RAM, QHD screen are the key bits. Check the Dell outlet store regularly for a refurb within your budget.

I have one. They aren't flawless, but they are very functional.
