large files and emails

hello, looking to get some panoramic prints done and found a website which takes psd files.

all well and good but the files are 350mb so i can't use hotmail to send them to their email address, how else can i or will i need to go down the blank dvd route?
 
They may have an ftp you can upload to!

Email is only designed for small files and text really :)

Why not just save to JPEG max quality though? I doubt you will see much of a difference, if at all!
 
because im printing pretty big and thought there would possibly be a big difference at that size?

it's 36" x 12", will that make a difference?
 
Try yousendit.com - use it a huge amount with clients to shift some chunky files. Very reliable and easy to use.

iirc, Hotmail has a max limit of 1MB per email, and most ISPs limit individual emails too (can range from 10MB to 50MB)....
