Hi I have my own studio in my garden, I've been asked to take a photo for a Birthday Prezzie for a grandparent, the thing is is of six people aged between 14 and 25, 5 girls and 1 boy. As I've never take a proper photo of this many people before I'm looking for some posing ideas.

Many thanks

Michael

fun I'm hoping but i'll do both so they can choose when the come back to view them.

1st thing i would do is get the main shot.. all the heads close together real close . dont be shy tell them closer.. a little more . a bit more . you get the idea get them to be nearly touching if possible . make sure they are all the same space apart . " if one is slightly further away than the rest they will look like a outcast on the photo .. i mean distant..

try having them in all different postions, get them to swap places alot takes a min or two but one shot will prob stand out more than the others..

once you have the main shot / shots then think about having fun with other poses...

thats what i would do.

dont worry about full length shots to much they wont be bothered
but what they will see is the closeness of the group

cheers MD

I wasn't thinking of full length as I know it can be a nightmare at the best of times.
