Last light at Landguard Jetty

Strange shot, Craig… had the low Sun not been there,
it would be a three tone composition but the Sun kissing
the wood adds a tension in the image that is surprising
and revealing the old wood grain beautifully. (y)

Very nice Sir, well composed with some lovely colours.(y)

George.

Very nice. I love the look of the light on the wood.

(Just to be pedantic though, that's not a jetty, it's a pier).

Steve.

That's a lovely shot, stunning light too! Really nice textures coming out in the timber.(y)

It's the orange low light that makes it, draws the eye along the image to the horizon. Nicely balanced colours.

great image Craig. I really like the way the orange light take your eye all the way through to the back of the image.

I like that. The colour tones work in harmony and the composition is lovely.

Nicely done Craig, liking the low PoV with great sharpness and texture in the jetty.

Know it well Craig, nicely done!

Lovely light!

Thanks all, I do wonder looking back at the image if I should move the mid point over slightly to darken it a hair?
