My old man and i are going for a saturday trip and im taking the camera, im wondering were your favorite places to shoot are and i require some suggestions so i can photograph somewere new.

Ive already phtographed a million times: Foxton Locks, Pitsford res and the ruin at the other side of the city...

I'm guessing by "The ruin at the other side of the city" you meant Bradwell Park? If not that is where I was going to suggest.

Another interesting place is Burrough Hill, you can find a few more options here.

I think you mean Bradgate park. I grew up 5 minutes from there and while it's still nice, it's simply too busy these days.

Around that area though you have Beacon Hill and Swithland Woods.

You could also try Abbey Park in the City?

Leicester also has some nice buildings near De Montfort University that are quite old. There is also the canal very close to this area where Richard ll's(?) body was dumped I think. And the old Roman ruins, Jewery Wall, are a stones throw away. Hope this helps.
