lens advise

anyone have advise on lens for 500d other than the 18-55, will not
be shooting landscapes,

OK, so you won't be shooting landscapes, that narrows it down a tiny bit!! So what's your thing? .......... Sports, portraits, wedding, wildlife, macro, action .................
