Lens for city break

Hi I have three lenses for my Sony A200, Sony 18-70, Sigma 70-300 and Minolta 50mm . We are off on a city break shortly and I only want to take one lens for convenience. The 50mm is the one I am thinking of taking for its low light abilities as I prefer not to use flash , but my question is will it be wide enough for shots of landmarks, group shots etc . What would you advise? Thanks

You need 2 - the 18-70 as your walk around lens and the the 50mm for "special ocassiobs".

you will definitely need the 18-70, the 50 wont get much in at all unless you are a distance away. Like Barry says the 50 is only small so surely it will fit in the bag as well.

Take the 50mm and if you need something wider just do some panaramic stitching
