Hi all, I am in need of some advice.
Recently my Sony Alpha A200's Sigma 70-300mm APO Macro lens AF decided to play up and is isn't usable anymore after only a year and a days use, that's right the warranty was over by a day but Sigma nor Amazon could do anything unless it was for a cost which would mount up more than what the lens is worth! I thought this was the right time to upgrade my camera but with me just putting a car on the road with the cost of insurance etc I don't have this type of money. My decision is to buy a new lens for it and keep the camera a bit longer to have a bit more practice with it. The Sigma lens I had did an ok job but really was no good for what I needed it for. I need a good lens which is perfect for motorsport as this is what it will be used for all the time, a good price and for it to work well with my camera! probably around 70-300 again, if not a little more or less mm. As far as price goes I don't have a guide just not too much unless I will see a big gain in picture quality then I might consider it! Overall I feel this is the better option.
If someone could help me find a better lens it would be appreciated. At the moment I am stuck with a 18-70mm and for Motorsport this is no good at all!
Thanks everyone.
