Lens query

I have the sony nex 5 & Im going to buy a minolta adapter so it can use the cheapy lenses but will I be able to use minolta film slr lenses on a digital camera?

Yes definitely. With the correct adaptor. The Minolta MD/MC Rokkors are reputed to give very good results with the Nex. Manual focus of course.
I am sure there is an expert here who can give you more detailed advice. I'll be very interested too as I have just ordered a Nex 5.
Which adaptor do you plan to buy? It looks like a bit of a minefield. So many possibilities. Probably lots of duds. Would be very interested to compare notes with anyone who had good or bad experience with any of the adaptor manufacturers.
