lens recommendation

I have just bought a canon 60D.
Can anyone out there help me to try and find the right walkabout lens for video on my 60D.
The only recommendation at the moment is a 24-105mm L IS.
I know that I have 2 L series lenses that are more than capable of reproducing quality video but neither of them are IS.
The only IS lens I have is the Sigma 150-500mm, so not really suitable for a walkabout lens.

Any ideas???

The Canon 15-85 is better suited to a crop sensor, use it on my 7D and shot this video with it.

The Sigma 17-70 is also a good choice if you do not want to spend too much.

15-95 is an excellent lens. Just bought one for my son to go with his 600d and is really nice

£ 300 used 70-200 L f4 would be just the job IME
