all [badly] tested on my FF Canon:
1. Tokina 17-35 f/4 nice but that's all in very subjective terms - would need a lot more play to say more. 82mm thread
2. Tokina 16-28 - very sharp at f/2.8, I probably want one if I can reconcile with the lack of filters
3. Canon 16-35 II - OK at f/2.8 in the centre, by f/5.6 looks very acceptable (light years ahead of 17-40). 82mm thread
4. Zeiss 21mm - super sharp wide open, but managed to just miss the focus on my target. Should be awesome for landscapes. 82mm
5. Zeiss 15mm (non-fisheye) is apparently in the pipeline (that's what I was told). Price??!!
6. Sigma 150mm OS macro. Low contrast, and AF refused to work on my cam - must have been 'bad' copy
7. Sigma 50mm f/1.4 (sigma stand demo) - very impressed - finally a good copy - sharp 'enough' at f/1.4.
8. Canon 24 TSE - probably amazing, but rather difficult to use for the start. Probably requires tripod and LV. 82mm
