Taken at Brands in the late 60s (either F1 Practice or the "Race of Champions") with a Prakita SLR and 100mm lens. I took all my shots at 100th of a second. That's all I can remember. Sorry for the poor quality. I can still smell the fixer from the paper!!!

This was when you could get close to Paddock Bend.

All three drivers were killed in accidents. Can you name them?

Right first time. Like me, you must be old.

I have never been to the actual Grand Prix. These were taken on a practise day (cheaper to get in!).

As an ordinary member of the public you could get really close to the drivers.

Brands Hatch, the best viewing circuit in the world. Shame the noise police stopped allowing F1 there.
