Yes
I bought a roll of film about 18 mths - 2 yrs ago and took maybe 10-12 shots, and it's been left in the camera since.
Is there a 'use by' time? and will it still be ok?
I'm very eager to start using 35mm again.

It will probably be fine as long as you haven't left it sitting on a radiator or on the dashboard of your car.

Many people have processed found film that has been sitting in cameras since the 60's and still got results so some from 18 months should be ok.

It's been in a padded camera bag which itself has been in a cardboard box (with large bag of silica gel), but it has been in the loft! quite cold in winter and very hot in summer (whatsthat i hear you cry???)
Only one way to find out if it's still good though!

Just shoot it!

Any deterioration in film speed/quality will be negligable.

In those 10-12 shots you took 18 months ago you might just have a keeper or two.
Can you remember what you shot?
