Lightning and Nero triggers

Anyone any experience of using these for high-speed photography?

I've been offered a loan of the Nero one - expensive though and mixed reviews. This one looks similar - and there are various similar models on eBay also. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has tried them out.

....and how do you find it? There are several reviews on the Nero site from people who seemed to be having difficulty to get theirs to cooperate.

It's ok, I got not problem with it… and I control it from my iPad.
