Lightroom 2 dumb questions

I have just downloaded Lightroom 2 for their 30 day trial. I have looked at the "training/tutorial videos" but I want to see traditional Help.
Clicking the help tab sends me to an Adobe web page of the training/tutorial videos but nothing that I can read.

So my questions are:
Does the retail boxed version have a reference manual?
Does the full retail product have a help system that is better than a hyperlink to tedious video tutorials.

I have PS Elements 6 and Nikon Capture NX2, I just want to see if Lightroom gives me anything more.

Looks like Adobe have updated the help system, the older and more traditional version can be found by clicking on the Lightroom help (web) link top right of the page which takes you here:

http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Lightroom/2.0/

I don't have the retail boxed version, I got the free upgrade from RawShooter way back and purchased the v2 upgrade online but the link above has worked well for me

Thanks pxl8. That link took me to the same location but did not run a script so I have been able to download the help pdf. The web link to Adobe is painfully slow, I would hate to have to use it in anger.
