Has anyone else had problems using this? I downloaded the newest version of this product today and updated my firmware however every time i click import it takes ages to pick up my camera and then it disappears straight away so i can't click import. If i am quick i press upload whilst the camera is on and it sometimes takes the images sometimes doesn't. The camera is brand new d3100 and picasa takes the images straight away so it's defo the programme :-(
 
Not had any problems. Might be worth a re-install.
 
Are you uploading via the connector on the camera? If so, try taking the sd card out and upload via card reader.
 
yeh connector i don't have a card reader at the moment so i might try that also. I've only got the trail version of Lightroom but i quite like it and really want it to be hassle free with my camera.
 
Might want to try and transfer to your computer first then import to LR and see if that makes any improvement.

Might we worth a clean install of LR see if it helps.
 
Yeh transferring to comp first does work but it's just a long way around :-/
 
I've had various issues with it. I would recommend making certain you have all system drivers up to date, and possibly bios for your motherboard up to date. I realise that this sounds like an excessive response, but I was having huge slowdown with it on upgrading from LR3 (using full versions, not upgrade versions).

I use a program called update star, which scans your pc and then checks for drivers.

Also I was getting blue screens of death when loading a previous imported list, which turned out to be caused by having LR3 presets still on my system. When uninstalling LR3 it doesn't clear those folders.

Might not be these things for you, but worth a try for your sanity!
