Lightroom course

I'm going on a Lightroom course at Photofusion today

I might then be half way as competent as people on here, but then again, maybe not as much as that!
Looks an interesting place anyway, I'm quite looking forward to going there.

A good day all in all. Only 4 of us so questions were answered quickly and fully.
We were using Macs which came as a bit of a culture shock to me!

Covered a lot of ground on the basics, all the usual stuff like using the catalogue correctly, file naming and importing.
Then all through the first 2 modules, Library and Develop discussing each in depth.

Next Monday we'll do the other modules in depth. We have homework which is just to shoot a series of frames with deliberate errors such as white balance and exposure so we can correct them in class.

Say what you like about trial and error etc. but I'm done with that. For me it's worth the money to get some formal tuition in Lightroom.

Looks an interesting course, I just don't seem to find the time to plough through books/videos when first learning something, I find a concentrated time far better. I've emailed them to find out when next one is running, will be interested to hear about the second day. Thanks for pointing them out.
