Lightroom2 advice please?

I use the web function in Lightroom2 to display a gallery within my website.

This works well giving me a nice display and the user can click on any image to see a larger version.

Is there any way that a title for each individual photograph can be added so that it shows with each photo selected. I can't find anything about this and I'm sure it must be possible. Must be missing the obvious somewhere :shrug:

Any ideas please?

Hi Neil,

In the Web section, different "engines" allow you to have a different style of web gallery some of which allow you to set a caption. I tend to use TTG Slimbox gallery which allows a caption.

I use the standard HTML gallery, just adjusted for colours to suit my site. Anyway I had a fresh look at the image info settings and found that the original filename for each image can be included - don't know why I hadn't spotted that before :shrug:. Works a treat! Just have to make sure all the filenames are as I want display now.

I think you can also title the image using the "Title" field in the IPTC data and get LR to pick that up. Certainly works for the Flash gallery

Hi Neil,

Rather than the file name, use the Labels under "image info", you can set a Title and caption which you define in the EXIF data in the Library Module.
