Yes - given that I'm not a huge fan of B+W landscapes, sometimes it just works and this works for me. I like the way that just to the right of the tree I'm led naturally down the length of the lake past those reflections to the mountains fading towards the sky at the far end. Not a view I've ever seen for myself - in my two vistis to Snowdonia neither time did I make it there. One day....................
 
Nicely processed Paul and very pleasing to me, albeit a shot that has been done many times.
 
I'm loving the rich tones in this image.
The shadows are not buried too dark either.
Compositionally, the tree all owns an open view of both the lake reflection and the valley at the bottom.
Very well thought out and executed.
