‘It’s not a question of blame, I do wish however that perhaps folk had discussed their opinions and ideas early on in the thread.

As it is a few togs have posted some cracking film shots of their film kit so not all has been ´lost’.

I'll bump this with something:-
Sospel was on tv last night (well for a few mins) and it was on "the motorbike show". The guy drove from Nice to Sospel, lots of winding roads up the mountains and Peillon looks interesting for photography....very quiet in March before the tourists.

I had close up lenses for the 124G that I used to possess but never really got on with them and most certainly never got close to the IQ that you have got in theseshots Nige.

Both my sets seem to have good image quality. The Close Up 1 set is the Yashica version. The Close Up 2 pair (which I might have used to get even closer to the Zeiss with hindsight) is a Rollei Rolleinar set.
