Logging in

is it just this site or does it happen with others too?
 
Ok this might be me doing something but here is what i have done so far-

Control Panel
Network and Internet Connections
Internet Options
Browsing History
Delete
(boxes ticked are as follows- Temp Internet Files, Cookies, History )
Delete

I deleted my Talkphotography Bookmark
Searched for site and opened
Signed in and password---tick the Rememeber me box
Add Bookmark

I close site down and go to Bookmarks but the site doesnt retain my username and password.
 
I was having a similar problem with IE8, and tried everything mentioned without success in the end i went tools-> Internet Options -> Advanced then click Reset - that sorted it out.

The strange thing is for the last few days it has worked fine, after having major problems for a couple of weeks. To be honest other than switching between using Internet Explorer and my ISP home page when accessing TP, I have not done anything differently. People using the site have also had problems and the most people seem to op for usng a different browser, Firefox being the favourite. I have not switched yet, while it is working again.
