I am a new member, and I have, like all of you here, a keen interest in photography.
I'm only young though, and aim to go into further education to study photography.
I would like some advice, please anything you think will help me, and do you actually think I'm any good at it.

you are a much better photographer than me, you have some lovely shots, good luck at uni - I don't envy student these days. My youngest son is in his final year and luckily missed the price hike!

Yes there are some very nice images there,
but you will get more feedback and better critique / advice,
by posting images, rather than just linking to your flickr account.

Which is not actually encouraged, BTW as it drives traffic away from the site.

I just checked out your flickr, you're really good! Give yourself more credit, and your also really experimental which is awesome!
 
One piece of advice in capitals DONT get hung up on equipment, it is MORE the person behind the camera than the camera in front of the person.
 
Regardless of your age, I enjoyed looking at your photos. keep it up!
 
thank you! i only have a digital at the moment, getting a DSLR for christmas, but my digital has manual settings so im happy for now :).
