First I should say hi, Im new here and pretty new to photography as a whole lol.
My problem is this. I did the photos for a posh dinner last night, and shot in raw using a nikon d40 and sb600 with ebay trigger. I started processing some of the photos today but when I save them as a jpeg, they look a lot different to when I had them open in the CS3 raw processing software. When i say different, I mean the photos in the raw software looked nice and warm, etc, how I want them to look. However as a jpeg, they look very cold, as if the white balance is wrong. I did a print screen so you can what they both loo like. Can anyone help me with this?

How I want it to look (did a print screen whilst it was open in photoshop):

How it looks after saving as a jpeg:

I wonder if you are using Adobe colour space?
sRGB thoughout is a much better bet

:agree:

It does look like your colour space is wrong.

interesting subject by the way
crowd control?

open CS3
click Edit::Color Settings
you want to see something like this:

sRGB.jpg

you may need to visit pictures taken before this
and change their colour space as well

When you process the raw file make sure it's exported as sRGB colour space. The two files you linked to are in different spaces. 11-1 is AdobeRGB and untitled is sRGB. It looks like the file hasn't been converted to sRGB before you saved it as a jpg.

plx8, your a legend, that was the problem, thanks for your help. Its very much appreciated
