Hi all,
I found an item of photography equipment in the Rivington area. Lancashire today. If you think it's yours PM me with a description.

Could be worth asking some local police dept close to Rivington, to see if have they had anyone (owner who left / lost it) asking if some has been handed in ?
 
I took it to the main police station in Chorley today (all the local village stations are mostly staffed on a very ad-hoc random basis)
Any way the upshot is that the big station at Chorley only opens on weekdays during office hours. So it's back in my kitchen now.
There may be an online reporting option yet though so I'll check that out.
 
Post the find on Facebook , It worked for me when I reunited a 5D MK2 owner with his camera
