Low light compact cameras

Compacts are tricky. I like my lumix lx5. But anything with full manual controls and a tripod would do the job
That x10 is nice though

An indication of your budget might help. The short answer is the Sony Rx1, but that's a two and a half grand camera that might be out of your price range.

Sony RX100 is a bit cheaper than the RX1 Canon S95, S100 and S110? And do you mean landscape type shots where a tripod is almost essential?
